Plot:

Based on a best selling novel written by Yann Martel, Life of Pi is a magical adventure centering on 16 year old Pi Patel, the precocious son of a zookeeper. The family decides to move from Pondicherry, India to Canada, taking their animals with them to start a zoo, hitching a ride on a massive freight ship. After a shipwreck, Pi find himself adrift in the vast pacific ocean on a lifeboat with a a zebra, hyena, orangutan and a big bengal tiger named Richard Parker, all fighting for their survival.
